The White Dress

Wearing all white for the first time.

As a plus sized young lady I never thought wearing all the white was really for a big girl. had me second guessing whether I should or not.

Then the day came where my friend was celebrating her 30th birthday and decided to throw herself a white party to celebrate her big day.

The quest began for me to find myself a white outfit. after weeks of stressing about how I will look in all white, I narrowed down my finding on two white dresses.

I still wasn't confident about wearing white but took a chance. the dresses I picked was simple but yet was cute.

Then came the night of the party, I got dazzled up, got my hair done, my make up done and I put on my white dress.

The feeling that came with me wearing white was marvelous, I felt clean and my self esteem rose.

I learn sometimes you have to step out of you comfort zone and try something you haven't before.
